I love to play the piano in Wales as it is close to my heart for a place to visit and as a pianist I feel very fortunate that my work takes me to some great places around the UK.

I especially enjoy going to Wales and frequently travel to, Monmouth in Monmouthshire, Gwent which is a county in south east Wales. The largest town in Monmouthshire is Abergavenny.

There are several castles in Monmouthshire, Caldicot Castle, Chepstow Castle, Raglan Castle and Skenfrith Castle to mention a few, I have actually played for weddings at some of them one them in particular sticks in my mind is Aaron Ramsey’s wedding at Caldicot Castle.

Monmouthshire is also famous for it’s beautiful countryside, the Black Mountains, the Wye Valley and the Brecon Beacons.  Brecon is famous for a large annual jazz festival.

Playing the piano in Monmouthshire Gwent is very special to me.
