Recommended Venues in Wales, Essex, Suffolk, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Sussex and Wiltshire

In the UK, a civil registrar ceremony must take place at a registered or licensed venue to be legally valid. Many private premises are licensed to hold civil ceremonies and they cannot include hymns, religious readings or prayers.

You can have a civil ceremony or civil partnership at: a register office and any venue approved by the local council, eg a stately home or hotel. a religious premises where permission has been given by the organisation and the premises approved by the local authority.

All the Following venues are highly recommended for weddings and all kinds of other events.  They also recommend the UK wedding pianist.
