Singalong Pianist

London, Birmingham, West Midlands, Warwickshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and all other areas of the UK are covered.

Sing-songs have become increasingly popular and I am now being hired as a sing-along pianist for these events. This is an interesting and enjoyable experience for me. I am usually asked to play this style of music for Cockney theme evenings and ‘Pie and Mash’ lunches and afternoons. More recently couples are starting to incorporate this sort of thing into their wedding day. It works really well especially towards the end of the day, when the guests are more relaxed.

Singalongs don’t have to consist of Cockney songs. I have song sheets that incorporate songs by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, The Beatles, The Kinks and many other rock and pop classics.

I can bring all the song sheets so that all you have to do is provide some enthusiastic singers. If required I can also dress in cockney style attire  to give the event more authenticity. This involves me wearing a bowler hat, red neckerchief, waistcoat, grandad shirt, Albert chain and pocket watch.

I usually set up some microphones on stands and encourage members of the audience to step up and display their vocal talents. At first people are a little bit timid about getting up, but as time goes by they get more and more confident.
